Annual Qinhuai Lantern Festival Open 25th Jan.
The annual Qinhuai Lantern Festival is coming again! There is a saying in "Old Nanjing": "If you don't watch the lanterns at the Confucius Temple during the Chinese New Year, you will not have a New Year; if you go to the Confucius Temple without buying a lamp, you will not have a good New Year!" Looking at the lights, you can see people's heads every year. However, the Qinhuai Lantern Festival at the Confucius Temple is still one of the most important folk customs of Nanjing people!
In 2022, the 36th China Qinhuai Lantern Festival will come again as scheduled! On January 25, 2022, the Qinhuai Lantern Festival will officially light up.
