On November 4, the opening ceremony of the 3rd China International Import Expo and Hongqiao International Economic Forum was held in Shanghai. Zigong lanterns from Sichuan Province were also lit up, and the Expo theme was distributed at 14 points of the National Convention and Exhibition Center. The "Introduction + Colorful Lanterns" project includes three major sections, namely "Introduction to the Expo ‘tribute’ lights", “Introduction to the Cultural and Creative Industries” and “Introduction to the Lanterns. Nearly 100 designers from Zigong City, Sichuan, and Chongqing have created and designed more than 800 lantern works in less than 2 months.
