Lighting Carnival Shows off in Shen Zhen
300,000 square meters of lights, 10 theme lantern areas, 2,000 square meters of water giant goddess lanterns, more than 20 performances of the national tide...... The 2023 Splendid China Zigong Lantern Festival kicks off at the Splendid Chinese Folk Village in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province, Dec. 2, 2019.

It is understood that this is the fourth consecutive year Zigong lanterns have lit up Shenzhen Splendid Chinese Folk Village. Nearly 100 Zigong Lantern intangible heritage craftsmen worked hard for 50 days to present the most beautiful traditional Chinese culture to Shenzhen citizens in vivid and happy lantern language, and further enhance the brand influence of Zigong Lantern. The lantern show will last until February 5, 2023, to accompany Shenzhen residents through a dazzling Spring Festival.
In the carnival, which is known as the "largest lantern fair in South China", a set of 2,000 square meters of water giant mountain and sea classics goddess lamp set was displayed, becoming the "top current" in this sea of lights. Under the hands of Zigong lantern artisans, the Goddess of mountains and seas made an amazing appearance, creating a magical experience integrating sound, light, shadow, water, fog, smoke and interaction. The goddess of mountains and seas led everyone into the mythical land of mountains and seas.
In addition, there is a talking "spirit tree", an 18-meter-high Internet celebrity IP giant rabbit lamp, a 3,000-meter-long Internet celebrity punch card street, a 16-meter-high cyberpunk machine Nezha, and dozens of "resurrected" dinosaurs.
