Beijing Shiyuan Lantern Festival will be held in Beijing Shiyuan Park from January 15 to October 15, 2023. At that time, 170 groups of special lanterns created by Zigong's traditional technology and a 3,000-kilometer long lantern viewing corridor will be displayed. With the theme of "Prosperous Age · Dream of Flowers", this Shiyuan Lantern Festival will have a grand opening on January 15, 2023 and last 274 days across the four seasons until October 15, 2023. At present, more than 200 workers from Zigong, Sichuan Province, are pasting and decorating lanterns in Shiyuan Park in Beijing, the official said. Up to now, 50% of the project has been completed. It is expected that the lantern installation and trial operation will be completed on January 12.
