Zigong Lantern Employment and Vocational Training
In June this year, the first "Zigong Colored Lamp Making Training Class" held by the Lantern College in 2022 was successfully concluded. 58 students participated in the 15-day, 120-class intensive training. This is the specific practice of vocational training in the Lantern Academy.
This training mainly focuses on the making technology of colored lamp paste, which is divided into two parts: theoretical knowledge explanation and practical operation. Finally, through the professional skills appraisal department grade assessment, 50 students in the training class passed the examination, and were awarded the Zigong Colored Lamp Paste Production Special Skill Certificate by Zigong Human Resources Service Center. Among them, 35 students were recruited by the project department of "Chinese Lantern Festival", an international cultural brand independently created by the group. The rest of the students who obtained certificates also signed labor agreements with other lantern enterprises and engineering teams and began to work as lanterns.
"In the lantern industry, most of the people working in it are monks who learn how to make it while watching it at the construction site. However, participants who have participated in intensive training and obtained special skills certificates can directly start making." Chen Jiaming said that so far, the school has opened 8 lantern training courses, and trained more than 300 colorful lantern talents such as art making, modeling making and paper making, which has helped Zigong lantern enterprises realize the new development mode of cultural trade of "industry + education + research and development + service" and made positive contribution to promoting social employment.
In addition, the school has built a series of platforms: It has successively established China Colored Lantern Culture and Art Creative Center, China Colored Lantern Art Inheritance Center, China Colored Lantern Association Alliance, National Cultural Export Base of Colored Lantern Art Center, Zigong Elementary and Middle School Education and Research Practice Education Base, Sichuan Colored Lantern Culture College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubator, Color lantern training base, Zigong Colored Lantern Science Popularization Base and the only color lantern skill identification station in China. Created the lantern creative design competition and works exhibition activities. At present, the lantern Design and Research Institute is being established to actively integrate social resources and promote the synchronous development of lantern culture and industry.
